"Happened"

"Now I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the Gospel." Philipians 1:12

It is funny, a lot of stuff "Happens" to us in a day. Some of it we plan, most of it we do not. Yet, Paul in this passage points out that it is the chaos that often is for the progress of the gospel. I view these unplanned events as a frustration, but this reminds me to try and see it throught the light of scripture and eternity's eyes. What has "happened" to me today may really serve to advance the Gospel...
