So I know it is not supposed to matter, but I am going to say it anyways... Last night we played the team I used to play for. We played them about a month ago and lost. After that game I decided that next time we played I would work to be better. I bought a book on goaltending, practiced about 2-3x a week and replaced some equipment. So tonight we played them again, and even though we were down 3-1 in the first period, we came back and ended up winning 8-3. My goaltending was not incredible, but it was good enough. Yes, I know it is just adult league hockey, but I am going to enjoy the win for a day...I am thankful that I have the chance to play.

I told you I could feel the win. Don't try to be so humble about it, though, Dean-o.......nothing like rubbing their nose in it just a tiny bit. :)
Just one question... did you get hurt?
I got hurt playing tennis, Kevin got hurt playing hockey... soooo, where's your "hurt badge of courage"?
I am glad your team won, and that you played well at goalie.
See you soon.
Dad
Well thanks for jinxing me Dad. As I write this, I am laying on the couch with my arm wrapped in ice. I took a slap shot on the forearm from an ODU (Old Dominion University) player. I hope it is not broken....
Love
Dean.
