Free at last...

So, here at the Mattix home I am celebrating my own little independence day. What started as a week long project somehow stretched into a month. There were times that I was clearly concerned that I would not be able to finish or it would look so poor that it would negate all the work. But, the kitchen counter is finally done! Yipeee! So while I will be enjoying our independence day today, I will also be kicking back and enjoying the freedom from the albatross that has been greeting me every day for the past month.
